Copy Trading
Copy trading mirrors trades from wallets you follow. The key detail is where trades execute: your wallet (you sign) vs an optional burner wallet (bot signs).
STATUS
Today: per-wallet copy signals + one-click copy execution (your wallet signs each trade) + optional Auto mode (burner wallet).
Manage your copy settings in Portfolio.
MODE 1 — TRADE FROM MY WALLETNon-custodial (recommended)
- You keep full custody: we never have your main wallet private key.
- The backend prepares the swap, but your wallet must sign each buy/sell.
- Best for transparency (you see every transaction before it happens).
In this mode, Stop/Take can be saved as preferences and shown as analysis, but sells can’t fire silently without your signature.
MODE 2 — AUTO MODEBurner wallet (optional)
- A separate “burner” wallet is created for automation and you fund it with the amount you want the bot to use.
- The bot can buy/sell without prompts (enables auto Stop/Take and following whale exits).
- After exits, the bot can auto-sweep SOL back to your main wallet (recommended behavior).
Security / risk model
- This mode requires server-side signing for the burner wallet (keys stored encrypted).
- Use small balances and sweep profits often (treat it like a hot wallet).
- Strong safeguards are required: withdrawal whitelist + cooldown, per-user limits, kill switch, and audit logs.
Costs / fees
- Creating wallets is free.
- Costs happen when trading: network fees, priority fees (optional), DEX fees, and token account creation rent.
